30 years ago today, May 25, 1984, “Parade” was being released. Not Spandau’s first album, but probably the first to deserve worldwide success, and it will happen again in few years for “Through the barricades”.

In 1984, in these very days, Alphaville made their way up the Italian charts with their first fantastic hit “Big in Japan”. Unbelievable. This was also one of the most beautiful albums ever, in my opinion.

Beloved Dinosaurs, 30 years ago (yesterday) a band who was well known in the US and also in Europe was releasing their countless album. It’s Chicago, with lead singer Peter Cetera. His name always reminded me of a barber who had his shop in the street where I lived, and had a quite similar name.
