The story of “À Caus’ des Garçons” is a very strong confirmation to the curse of the eponymous, an unescapable destiny of the 80s. Actually music had very few rules in that period, everything was allowed and tolerated. Artists could give their same name to their albums, of course. Duran Duran did it with their first album, and Toto released lots of album called Toto, Toto IV, Toto XX… But you should not do one thing: no group should give their own name to a single song, or take their name from a song.
