U2 – Where the streets have no name
Era il 31 agosto 1987. Sì, perché mentre negli USA Michael Jackson faceva uscire Bad, al di qua dell’oceano un gruppo altrettanto famoso, gli U2, faceva uscire il terzo singolo, dopo “With or without you” e “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for“, dal loro fantastico album “The Joshua Tree”. E così, partendo da una considerazione di Bono sul fatto che in certi quartieri si può letteralmente capire chi sei e quanto guadagni dal tuo numero civico, o dal lato della strada in cui abiti, uscì questa bellissima canzone, una delle più iconiche, con un attacco memorabile e inconfondibile, la bellissima “Where the streets have no name”.
