Dear friends, exactly 30 years ago the song of a rather unknown guy became a hit. He had been a writer for Kiss and others, had been the author of “I know there’s something going on” for Abba’s Frida, but he never really caught the ragged tiger of worldwide success.
And so he said: at least one time I want to write a great song for myself, and get to my period of celebrity! Signed – Russ Ballard!
And he wrote “Voices”. Can you remember? It drove me mad!

In my head the voice is waiting, waiting for me to set it free
I locked it inside my imagination, but I’m the one who’s got the combination
