Jill Jones – Mia bocca
“Mia Bocca” is another Prince’s song. And Jill Jones is another Prince’s friend. The Minneapolis Genius, rest in peace, had a thing for young singer, black hair, and better with a letter or a number for second name, eager to be discovered by him. So, after Apollonia K, Vanity 6, Sheila E, Wendy and Lisa, he closed the 80s by discovering also Jill Jones. I mean, she probably fell in love with his culture, when he told her… why don’t you put the refrain in perfect Italian… and used a wrong translation!!! Luckily automated translators weren’t available yet, I can’t think of what could come out otherwise!!!

But there's somethin' about U baby
That's got me koo koo
Would U hold it against me If I said I loved another?
Tu vuole la mia bocca
