Sabrina – All of me
“All of me” marked the closing days of the fantastic summer of 1988. We have not mentioned yet the undiscussed Queen of summer hits in those years. During our adventure of living the 80s again year after year, we met her several times. We talked about “Boys” or “Sexy girl“, fore example. And every time, I am more convinced that she is one of the most intelligent and clever artists around. She always sang happy, summer songs for a young audience, this is true, but this woman has been so smart in staying faithful to an image born thirty years ago (when she was a teenager!), yet staying in continuous evolution.
Her musical appearance and her songs focused greatly, of course, on her beauty and her appeal. Yet, after many years, the woman Sabrina has never been a trash character! She never created of was part of any scandal, and she played her role at a perfect level. Today Sabrina is still definitely an extremely beautiful woman, her fans go crazy when she attends revival shows with her 80s songs, but she is also a great show woman, an artist who showed without any doubt that her value was far beyond a nice summer hit or a teasing video.
Finally: Sabrina perfectly represents the feeling that we all live when we remind of the stars of the 80s: they were young, they were beautiful, they were full of energy, they were glamour. But many of them were first of all great great artists!
