Scorpions – Still Loving You
#quotefromthe80s
Fight, babe, I'll fight
To win back your love again
I will be there
I will be there

The Beatles are from 1960, the Stones from 1962 and the Scorpions from 1965, although, actually, they used their final name only since 1969.
This German band, famous for the sexually provocative covers of albums, reached the peak of success in the 1980s, after a sharp turn towards pop metal, the vein through which to slide romantic classics such as “Still Loving You” or a metal song such as “Rock You Like a Hurricane”, both on the 1984 album “Love at First Sting”.
In particular, “Still Loving You”, a ballad that really asks for kisses and tears, hits hard on all the European charts, especially in France, where Scorpions were said to be the cause, with this song, for the baby boom of 1985!
Lyrics tell about a story that may be over, but to which it is right to give another chance; skilfully lamenting voice and strings are there to suggest the idea of the feelings that do envelope lovers; in short: if we had to guess the moment when vampires began to suffer the pains of love, we would probably indicate it with the birth of this song.
