Cock Robin – Just around the corner
“Just around the corner” came two years after Cock Robin’s greatest hits “The Promise you made” and “Thought you were on my side”. Cock Robin tried once more, and succeeded once more. But they consisted now just of two members, out of four. The founder Peter Kingsbery and of course the iconic singer Anna LaCazio. She, with her voice and her look slightly out of time, was definitely part of Cock Robin’s success.
One of the two former members had a high sounding name, Louis Molino III, just like in some movies like the Louis Winthorpe III of “Trading places”. Critics consider the album “After here through Midland”, which they released in 1987, as their best album. However it became evident that, sadly, even for Cock Robin the 80s were coming to an end…
