Had you been the king of summer 1984 with “People from Ibiza”, wouldn’t you try releasing one more disco hit at the beginning of following summer? After all, you have a strong team with a talent scout like Claudio Cecchetto supporting you, you are tall, very cool, long blond hair, blue eyes, a nice guy, very clever, your keybord hanging from your shoulders, and most of all you are always spending your time at cool parties in Ibiza… why on earth shouldn’t you be doing that? Well, in 1985, Sandy Marton tried once again!!
And he succeeded again, because “Camel by camel” was really one of the main songs of Summer 1985. The hit entered the charts in Italy at about mid May, but in few charts it was in the first three places. And the Festivalbar, a pop music roadshow, was beginning. Actually those years were the best ones for this great summer show. And for Sandy this meant: success guaranteed until September!
