Cyndi Lauper – Change of heart
“Change of heart” is the link between Cyndi Lauper and London. Actually I am just back from London, where I celebrated the 30 years of this fantastic video and song 🙂 A great video in Trafalgar Square, an extraordinary singer and artist… an unbelievable beginning of 1987!
Cyndi released her second album some months before, and the single with the same name, “True colors” immediately became a huge success. The song was quite different from the atmosphere and the sound of “Girls just want to have fun” which made her worldwide famous.
So, at the end of 1987 she released this second single, very beautiful but more mature. It soon became one of Cyndi’s fans favorite songs. And of course she sings it very often in her concerts. Do you know who played the background choirs in this song? The Bangles! 🙂
