A man of many decades

Roy Orbison – You got it

“You got it” and Rob Orbison probably should not be defined as 80s. In fact, his music dates back to the 60s. The american artist had surfed through the decades, actually. In the 80s he was part of Traveling Wilburys, with other big names such as Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and Geoge Harrison. He passed away in December 1988. He had finished an European tour, and he went to his mother’s to have some rest. Anyway, as it often happens, his death brought a new fame to his music. In fact, in January 1989 he was back in the charts with his original production, the pop country music of the 80s.

He really became a man of many decades! Not only he acted from the 60s through the end of the 80s, but his music became even more famous in 1990! In fact, one of his songs gave the title to one of those movies which remain in everybody’s hearts, “Pretty woman”!
