Whitesnake – Here I go again

Whitesnake released “Here I go again” thirty years ago, early November 1987, and this song has a great story behind. We know Whitesnake are the creation in the 80s of David Coverdale, who was in the 70s one of the leaders of Deep Purple, with songs like “Smoke on the water”. Actually Whitesnake released this song for the first time in 1982, but in later years other members of Deep Purple joined Coverdale in Whitesnake.

So their sound becamenow much more metal oriented, and they decided to remake this fantastic song. And a new video too, with a stunning girl dancing on the Jaguar that Coverdale is driving. The girl acted later in other Whitesnake’s videos and finally, like in fairy tales, she and Coverdale celebrated their marriage!

#quotefromthe80s
I'm gonna hold on for the rest of my days
'Cause I know what it means
To walk along the lonely street of dreams
